Mike Santana left AEW to make a name for himself outside of the tag team division being a part of LAX and he did just that. After signing with TNA Wrestling he moved up the ranks fast and winning the TNA world championship where he faced the best TNA had to offer and making the name Mike Santana mean something and with the partnership with WWE they took notice and signed him as soon as his contract was up. He debuted last week just going through the crowd after his debut there was a trademark filed for the name Cruz Montana which is now Mike Santana’s new name. I get why WWE changes names for ownership rights but some people should just be able to keep their names.
